Fun Run 2006
Local lad Adam Hilless was this year’s winner of the Dyke Fun Run. Last year
Adam came 3rd in a time of 9mins 30, but this year he improved his time to
8mins 35 and was the fastest runner around the course. Over 250 runner, joggers
and walker turned out to complete the 2.5km course on Friday evening. The
weather although, touch and go, remained dry as spectators encouraged
competitors around the course. This was the 5th year the event took place and
seems to have become a firm favourite with some families having entered each
year!
